I seek the “aha” moment — when your team discovers it wasn't as aligned as it thought
I am certified to teach the LUMA system of human-centered design's thirty-six methods, and certified as a facilitator leveraging these methods. Effective workshops are intentional about the business or organizational outcome, the participants needed to achieve it, and how much time is required. Any given workshop may include a variety of interactive group activity and presentation, depending on the goal.
“I seek the ‘aha’ moments where individuals in a team realize they thought they were on the same page but were not. Aligned teams are happier, and build greater things.”
Most facilitators are process specialists. They know how to run the room, but they don't know your industry or what a decision at this altitude actually costs. My facilitation work comes from the same source as my design work: 20+ years in complex B2B environments where the stakes are real and misalignment is expensive. I don't run workshops. I design the conversation your team needs to have.
Workshop types
Tailoring the workshop to your specific needs creates the most impact for your organization or product.

Ad Hoc Workshops
Have a specific need or challenge? I design and lead custom workshops tailored to your unique situation, ensuring focused collaboration and actionable outcomes, whether it's for strategy, problem-solving, or team building.

Alignment Workshops
Bridge gaps and build consensus across teams or departments. These workshops focus on creating shared understanding, defining common goals, and developing unified strategies to move forward together effectively.

Value Stream Analysis
Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in your processes. We map out your current value stream, analyze flow and waste, and collaboratively design a more efficient and effective future state.

Value Network Analysis
Understand the complex web of relationships and exchanges within and around your organization. This analysis helps identify key players, dependencies, and strategic opportunities for value creation and partnership.

Scenario Planning
Prepare for an uncertain future by exploring potential scenarios and their implications. We develop robust strategies that are adaptable and resilient, enabling proactive decision-making in the face of change.

Competitive War Gaming
Stress-test your strategies against potential competitor actions. Through simulated competitive environments, we uncover vulnerabilities, refine tactics, and build a more resilient market position.

“Eric did a fantastic job facilitating two workshops that I attended recently — the Product Data workshop and the Cloud Ops Standards workshop. Not only was he a top-notch facilitator, but he was able to think on his feet and pivot the workshops based on how the discussions were going. By being adaptable, he was able to drive both workshops to have successful outcomes. That's a big deal for all of the participants because it made our time worthwhile.”
“Thank you for all your help during FDX workstream effort in the last few weeks. You stepped in at the last minute to help and provided vital facilitation support before and during the sessions. Your help during the intermediate and final deck preparation was also invaluable.”
